Terms of Service
These terms are a binding agreement between you and PRINTABLES.PH CONSUMER GOODS TRADING, the owner and operator of WAppOTP. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use WAppOTP for a company, you confirm you may bind that company.
1. Who we are
WAppOTP (https://wappotp.com) is owned and operated by PRINTABLES.PH CONSUMER GOODS TRADING, DTI Business Reg. No. 697296683, a business registered in the Republic of the Philippines ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
2. The service
WAppOTP lets you link messaging accounts you control and send one-time passwords (OTPs), transactional messages, consented campaigns and, where enabled, SMS through an API, dashboard and plugins.
- Unofficial WhatsApp connection. WhatsApp sending uses the WhatsApp Linked Devices (WhatsApp Web) mechanism on a number you own. It is not the official WhatsApp Business Platform. WAppOTP is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp may limit, restrict or ban numbers at its own discretion, and we cannot prevent or reverse that.
- SMS. SMS is sent through a licensed Philippine SMS provider to Philippine mobile numbers, using prepaid SMS credits.
- No delivery guarantee. Delivery depends on third parties (WhatsApp, mobile networks, your phone staying online, recipients' devices). Statuses such as "sent", "delivered" and "read" are reported as received from those parties.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, workspaces, API keys and site keys. Keep secret keys on your server and never in browser code; revoke any key you think is exposed.
- You are responsible for the phone numbers and messaging accounts you link, including keeping them secure and compliant with their providers' terms.
4. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must have a lawful basis and, where required, prior consent to message each recipient, honour opt-outs, and comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), consumer, telecommunications and anti-spam rules, and the terms of WhatsApp and any mobile network. You are the sender of your messages and are solely responsible for their content.
5. Plans, credits and payment
Plans are prepaid for a fixed period and do not renew automatically. Message add-ons and SMS credits are one-time purchases. Prices are shown before checkout and charged in Philippine pesos through our payment partners. Usage limits, credit rules and refunds are described in Payments & Refunds. We may change prices for future purchases; purchases already paid keep their agreed price.
6. Data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. For personal data of your recipients that you send through WAppOTP, you are the personal information controller and we process it on your behalf only to provide the service, under the data processing terms in the Privacy Policy.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or restrict projects, keys, numbers or accounts, without prior notice where necessary, to stop abuse, spam, fraud, security threats, non-payment, legal risk or a breach of these terms. Where practical we will tell you why. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, limitation of liability and governing law) survive it.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, add or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce what you have paid for.
9. Intellectual property
We own WAppOTP, its software, SDKs, plugins, documentation and brand. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them with the service during your subscription. You keep ownership of your content and data, and give us the rights needed to process them to provide the service.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under Philippine law, including the Consumer Act (Republic Act No. 7394).
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits or revenue, or losses caused by WhatsApp, mobile networks, payment or other third-party services, or by your linked devices. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify PRINTABLES.PH CONSUMER GOODS TRADING against claims, fines and costs arising from your messages, your recipients' data, your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify account owners by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it within thirty (30) days. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of the Philippines, without prejudice to remedies available to consumers under law.
